Employee engagement
Everyone is an ambassador for our 2021 Strategy and we aim for every
employee to fully understand the importance of their role in shaping
and developing the way we work.
The Estate believes that continuing to break down silos and encouraging
collaborative working across departments will help us reach our goals.
Encouraging a happy, healthy and supported team is central to the Estate
ethos.
A happy and informed team
We encourage all employees to socialise and learn about each other’s
roles within the Estate, promoting better teamwork, removing barriers
and creating a caring and supportive working environment.
Social events and celebrations, as well as regular team gatherings
and informal briefings, are organised throughout the year providing
the opportunity to meet other members of staff you wouldn’t normally
cross paths with, as well as offering time to catch up both inside and
outside of the work environment.
All members of the Leadership Team have pledged to attend team
meetings regularly to help increase cross-department understanding
and the free flow of information.
Our revised induction programme will include a complete Estate-wide
experience. We believe it is vital to our 2021 Strategy that all staff
members have a full and complete understanding of every area of the
Estate. We aim to ensure all members of staff have visited each of
the main Estate sites within two years of joining and then regularly
throughout their career with us.
