company,Iworkwithinateamresearchingcompaniesandassessinginvestments
trendsaroundtheworldtodecidewhereto investmoney inthe longterm.
Weaimtoinvestincompanieswhoseactivitiesare,broadlyspeaking,sustainable,
inthattheyneedtocontributetowardssolutionstotheworld’sproblemsrather
thanexploitingthem.Youcouldcallthis“responsible investment”,but Iamwary
ofusingthisphrase,because itsoeasily leadstoapolarisation inpeople’sminds
betweenangelsanddemons. And, in fact, investing responsibly in themodern
world is more complicated than that, particularly when it comes to issues
affectingtheenvironment.
