George’s marathon run with family and friends raises thousands for cancer charities

George, who manages the Clinton Devon Estates Home Farms in East Devon ran with wife Rachel, daughter Alice and son Jack and their two family friends, Amy and Lucy Redfern, who lost their mum to breast cancer.

Commenting on the team’s success, George said: “I didn’t manage to do any training in preparation for the 13 and a half miles so I’m feeling a bit sore now. We all feel a huge sense of achievement, especially as we managed to complete the run in just over two and quarter hours.”

George and team have raised money for Cancer Research and Breast Cancer UK.
